Sculptural Reliefs created by acclaimed Anglo-Chinese muralist and painter Gerard D’Alton Henderson, the stone reliefs span 4,000 square feet and sport Indo-Malay features such as tumpal (isosceles triangle motifs), wayang topeng masks from Indonesian theatrical performance, Singa and other mythical animal faces. “Kinetic Rain” is a kinetic sculptural installation of 608 copper-plated rain droplets suspended from the ceiling of the departure hall of Changi Airport in Singapore. Computer-controlled motors in the ceiling raise and lower the droplets, forming shapes and patterns in a beautiful 15 minute long display. The installatiion is by German art studio ART+COM.
