![Maddalena "Madeleine" Malan (Angrogna, TO, 25/9/1839 - Ogden, UT, 2/12/1919). Donna pioniera, giunse con la famiglia nell'Utah, in carovana, nel 1855. Nel maggio dello stesso anno lei e la sorella gemella Emily sposarono Isaac R. Farley (1837-1922 [erano mormoni]). Nel 1857/58 i mormoni dovettero contrastare l'esercito Usa e la famiglia di Maddalena si rifugiò nei pressi del lago Utah, soffrendo fame e freddo. Nel 1869 si trasferì a West Weber e poi a Ogden.
