All about us, our cabin charters and the places we sail to.
As you leave île de Ronde on your way to Grenada you pass some isolated rocks called The Sisters. The rocks are a haven for birds and also a wonderful backdrop for a picture of Nemo with full sails up, do you agree? Thanks to our friends on Catamaran Genesis for the great pic. #Nemo #Grenada #Grenadines #sailboat
More great charter memories sailing around #Grenada & The Grenadines. This one from Christmas a couple of years ago. You can tell because we have our Xmas lights up in the cockpit. And yes, we do have a teeny Christmas tree too! It really is a great spot to escape the cold. Loads of info about our sailing trips can be found at www.bluefoottravel.com (link in bio).
After a fab day of sailing, it is nice to explore ashore too. And there is no better beach than Paradise Beach on Carriacou to stretch your legs. The sand is soft and golden, the water is pure and clean and there are beautiful mangroves to walk alongside. Just a bit further down this beach and behind the mangroves are holiday homes and also a wonderful local store - Fidel, that sells t-shirts, jewellery and calabash - all locally made. They also have a store on Etsy! Of course, no beach…
More great charter memories sailing around Carriacou. There is no better combination than wonderful guests who like to get hands-on with the sailing, bright blue skies, warm winds and big smiles. What a great place to work! Happy hump day 😃⛵️😃.

We know the fishing around Carriacou is great, as we eat fabulous fresh fish like Tuna, Mahi, Barracuda and Lion Fish at the local restaurants. @theslipwaycarriacou is one of our favourites. It’s great watching the local fishermen at work. All of it is done by hand, they demonstrate wonderful teamwork between the guys in the water and in the boats. They make it look incredibly easy. We know it isn’t though, as we try and trawl a line ourselves, with mixed success to be honest. Sailing is…
Is there anything better than heading out on the water for a sail on a sunny Sunday afternoon? I guess the only thing that could make it better is sailing in the beautiful waters around Carriacou! This picture brings back great memories from one of our Grenada cabin charters a few years ago. #BlueFootTravel #SailingInStyle #sundayfunday☀️
So our tour of Grenada starts with one of our favourite anchorages - Sandy Island in Carriacou. This stunning sandy islet is covered in palm trees and surrounded with the clearest turquoise waters. It is great for snorkelling (lots of wonderful giant brain coral) and for watching pelicans fish at sunrise and sunset. If you have been, what great memories do you have of your stay here? #BlueFootTravel #SailingInStyle #paradiseisland
We have arrived in wonderful St Georges, Grenada. We will be on anchor here in quarentine for the next two weeks before we can go and explore this beautiful and friendly island again. But as we have been here so many times before we have tons of stunning pics we can share with you. We hope our ‘tour’ will inspire you to add Grenada to your destination list when travel resumes again. #BlueFootTravel #SailingInStyle #grenadadreaming
We had that most amazing time in St Vincent over that last few months. And it was made even better by these two fabulous guys - Jimmy and Sparrow from Charlie Tango. We were on one of Jimmy’s mooring’s ball at Young Island Cut. And in addition to making sure the ball was always safe by frequently diving on it, between them they also provided taxi services so we could get our provisions (and anything else we needed), fresh water, laundry, trash disposal etc, and all with a big smile 😃…
One of our little luxuries over the last few weeks has been snorkelling around #FortDuvernette. So when we start charters again, we can show you all the top spots! The water has been so clear and the corals so colourful. #coralicious #bluefoottravel
Sadly today is our last day in St Vincent. We are heading south to Grenada to tomorrow for another adventure. We haven't had the sail up for months though...can't wait! Wishing you all a fab Sunday! #BlueFootTravel #SailingInStyle #visitsvg
Happy Anniversary to Nemo and us! Yes, we got 'the keys' to her four years ago! And since then she has been working non-stop from 9-5 sailing across the Caribbean Seas! Here were are saying up to the Pitons in St Lucia. Of course, working 9 to 5 sailing in the Caribbean is not quite the same as working in an office 9 to 5, but someone has to do it! Wishing you a great weekend!
