Hugo Gerhard Simberg (24 June 1873 - 12 July 1917) was a Finnish symbolist painter and graphic artist.The two characters Simberg used most frequently for his art are the "Poor Devil" and Death personified. "Haavoittunut enkeli/The Wounded Angel" is Simberg's one best known artist's works.
