Compact Hydrangea paniculata "Strawberry Sundae"® (2 planted in South bed near stone stairs, between Boxwood hedge & fence, West of Althea) and -- more compact than Vanilla Strawberry variety (planted in NE bed). Full to part sun, 4.5'H x 3-4'W, Blooms in mid through late Summer with flowers that open white then take on pink tones & ultimately strawberry red. Bought at Shawnee Family Tree Nursery 5/28/17

Voted top plant of 2010 by the American Nursery and Landscape Association, Hydrangea paniculata Vanilla Strawberry™ is a relative of the classic PeeGee Hydrangea that produces large flower heads starting in midsummer.
