Galata Morente or Dying Gaul (1st or 2nd century AD) - Roman marble copy of a lost Hellenistic bronze sculpture created by Epigonus of Pergamum between 230 and 220 BC. This had been commissioned by Attalus I of Pergamum to celebrate his victory over the Galatians (Gauls of Anatolia). It portrays a warrior with Celtic hairstyle, moustache and neck ring. He lies on his fallen shield, with his sword, belt and curved trumpet beside him. - Musei Capitolini, Rome
