Lotta Svärd

Fue una organización voluntaria auxiliar finlandesa para mujeres. Formado en 1918, durante la Segunda Guerra Mundial, se movilizó para reemplazar a los hombres reclutados en el ejército. En 1944 contaban con 240.000 miembros. Las Lottas trabajaban en hospitales, puestos de guardia de ataques aéreos, como organización sanitaria. Las Lottas oficialmente no disponían de armas, solo se tiene conocimiento de una unidad antiaérea compuestas por Lottas en Helsinki en el verano de 1944.
