This unusual nineteenth century copper tea kettle was made in England. It bears the impressed V crown R mark on both sides, which stands for Victoria Regina. The mark was in use from 1837 to about 1876. The mark doesn't signify any royal connection other than that the item was made during Queen Victoria's reign. This 1 liter (nearly 34 ounces) copper tea or water kettle was made in Sweden in the 1920s or earlier by the Knut Eriksson Company of Eskilstuna. A simply beautiful Antique tea set from Occupied Japan. The pieces are all marked with Nichimen and the stamp as shown on the photo. There is a covered tea pot that is 6 in. high to top of finial and 8 in. wide from spout to handle. The 4 cups are 3.75 x 2.75 in. One cup has a small fleabite on the rim. The 4 saucers are 5.5 in. This set is basically in mint condition except for the fleabite already mentioned. The dragon and other designs are raised with no wear.
