This is a cute little mini-poster to have in your Literacy Center or posted during Writer's Workshop to help show your students how they can add details and sparkle words to stretch their sentences. I have also included a supporting worksheet to use when introducing your students to stretching a sentence.

Hopefully this activity will work, and the challenge to my first graders to stretch their sentences will be gladly accepted. . . the gauntlet has been thrown! :)
