Strawberry Cream Scones 2 c flour 6 Tbsp butter, in chunks ½ tsp salt 1 Tbsp baking powder 1/3 c sugar 2 oz. cream cheese, soft 1 egg 4 Tbsp milk 1-1/2 tsp vanilla ¾ c diced strawberries Glaze 1 c powdered sugar ½ tsp vanilla 1-3 Tbsp milk Preheat 375ºF. Process first 4 ingredients until butter pea-sized. Put in bowl. Blend in sugar, cream cheese, egg, milk, vanilla, berries. Flour board. work in flour until soft sticky. Roll ½-in thick. Cut in 3-in hearts. Bake 16-20 min until golden. Glaze.
