Aleksander Barkov became the first Finnish captain in history to win the Stanley Cup in the NHL hockey league this past season with the Florida Panthers. The most coveted trophy in hockey and the champion captain are coming to celebrate the achievement in Barkov's hometown of Tampere. To honor this, the city of Tampere and the Tappara hockey club are organizing a public celebration at Nokia Arena, and Tampere will be renamed Barkov City for a week. The campaign's design follows the look of the Florida Panthers. The campaign will be visible in Tampere through outdoor advertising and on social media channels.
