Pattern design Flower Carnival
My earlier works: Pattern design Flower Carnival 🌺 I drew the pattern about five years ago, during a summer when I worked in the city center of Helsinki and walked through the beautiful Esplanadi park almost daily on my way home. The client was Jiban Makura, and the project was through Patternsfrom Agency.

In most cases, I finish my patterns on a computer and use scales & color amounts that suit traditional textile printing methods. When the pattern is made with vector graphics, it is easy to adjust it for the needed purpose, whether it is for home textiles, fashion, paper goods, or something else.

The group of napping forest animals decorates a woven cotton blanket by UAB Barker Textiles made for the 2022 maternity package by KELA. All the furry friends can be spotted in Finnish forests: A bear, fox, rabbit, and squirrel. The name of the design "Päikkärit" means a nap. (Äitiyspakkaus 2022 viltti)
