The daughters of Ukko the Creator had sprinkled  the mountains with black, white, and red milk,–  from this was formed iron

The origins of iron. The three daughters of Ukko spread from swollen breasts milk white, red and black milk milk. And from that milk poured on the Earth (so says the old Väinämöinen in runo IX of Kalevala) produces various types of iron.
