Mason and Hamlin reed organs
c.1892 Mason & Hamlin Co. walnut pump organ restored into a stunning functional writing desk. This piece is in nearly perfect condition structurally and cosmetically. It can be used with or without the top hutch piece. I installed hidden LED lights to provide light to the desktop area and it has hidden access panels for running electrical cords to the desktop area (e.g. laptops, etc). Amazing 120+ year old piece of American history that can now be used for another century.

Antique Mason & Hamlin Style No. 243 Pump Organ with Ivory Keys. Approximate Measurements: 62" x 43" x 23". Ornate gothic style with two medallions signifying late 1800's medals won by the Mason& Hamlin Co. for their craftsmanship. Beautiful scrollwork baseboard with yellow silk backing. The keys appear to be ivory and ebony. The organ still plays, although it requires an unusual amount of pumping to produce sound. It is likely that the bellows are worn out but this is usually an easy replacemen
