Design No.22 - X-382 - In common with the first three models in the new Performance Cruiser range, the X-382 sported a large masthead rig, a large wheel, and a teak interior with moulded teak bulkheads that ensured the maximum use of space. The X-382 was mainly focused on the cruising market, but was completely in tune with the new line, offering excellent sailing performance and comfort.

Design No. 23 - IMX 38 - The good looks of the IMX 38 were obvious from the moment she emerged from the production mould. She was so appealing that the idea was born to create a new racer/cruiser that would perform well under the dominant IMS international handicap rule. Named the IMX 38 (to reflect the link to IMS), she had same hull lines but 10cm lower freeboard, a more race-oriented deck and interior layout, a higher performance masthead rig, and a newly designed keel and rudder.

Keeled boats rarely turn over with all the weight in the keel (tens of thousands of pounds), but they will go this far over, which is quite an intense few moments.
