Children's lit is my go-to move for introducing ideas to my kids; be it an art movement or a science concept. Books about art elements are no exception!

I would use this hand out as a viewing activity. For older kids I would put a blank beside the examples and provide a word bank. With younger and even older kids I would bring in materials and examples of these textures represented so they can get a real experience with it.
