a dining room table with chairs and a chandelier hanging from the ceiling above it
Cozy Eclectic Dining Room
I think every home needs vintage items mixed in, I have heard 20% vintage in a room, is a good place to start. Obviously more is welcome, vintage adds depth and character. Another tip is to add up the total cost of the room vs focusing on the cost of one item. Balance! For instance this 9x12 rug was $200, and the wood dining chairs were a FB marketplace find, $200 for the set. Plus the DIY of the box trim molding saved us as well, the molding cost was about $600.

Cozy Eclectic Bathroom Redo
We helped give our friends bathroom some personality! Mission accomplished, love that they wanted this fun pink wallpaper. And a powder bathroom is always a fun place for a pop of fun! The walls look like works of art. They had already painted the board and batten, and now all of a sudden the room feels complete. 🌸 PS- notice the birds in the girls hair in the art of the toilet! I took that art off my office walls hoping it would work in here, and it’s better than I imagined!

Mission add some personality to this room accomplished! Swipe to see the subtle changes, and how one look tells more of a story. I get it, sometimes you need a lamp so you grab one without thinking “is this really the look I want in here?” Always best to pause to think that ❤ When I found the red lamps I knew they would add personality, along with the art! And that gingham bedding is simple, yet adds a lot in its own way.
a large house with lots of plants and lights on it's front porch area
Cozy Eclectic Spring Front Porch
Spring front porch, welcome in! And if you are new here a photo of what the house looked liked when we bought it, we saw so much potential! I stuck with Boxwoods and, Creeping Jenny for the greens with White Bacopa, Candytuft and hydrangeas as my white flowers. If you saw in my previous reel the flower baskets on the door have real flowers, I used perlite as filler in the bottom. Anything you want me to show in stories??

Cozy Eclectic Living Room
We added curtain panels to our family room, they add a nice pop of color, while framing the windows, rather than takeaway. We hung the rod all the way across the windows and doors, makes it feel like one large window! You can see in the before photo of the house, there was a valance that made the windows feel shorter (ps- I loved the before, this room is my favorite in our house with three original ceiling). Are you having trouble deciding on window treatments??
