For my fellow work-from-home people, this one is for you! This clip-on light is perfect for your phone or laptop and helps make video calls a little brighter, literally. I recently got these fine tip point pens, and they write really smoothly, especially on this to-do list pad. We open a lot of boxes around here, this ceramic box cutter won’t cut skin but glides through tape and cardboard seamlessly.
When I want to exfoliate head to toe, I use these towels in the shower to scrub any dead skin off. I’ve repurchased these beauty sponges for years, best used while damp to apply makeup for an even finish. This makeup bag opens at an angle so you can easily see everything that you have in there, and it fits so much!
This t-shirt dress is a wardrobe staple for me, I previously shared different ways to wear it here. I had the opportunity to design my own size-inclusive collection with Amazon The Drop and created my perfect everyday dress, which comes in several colors/prints and is easy to dress up or down for work or the weekend. These no-show socks are some of my favorites for sneakers or boots, and they don’t slip or move throughout the day paired with one of my favorite sneakers!

This set of clear jars organizes any bathroom or vanity setup in a pinch! This clip-on strainer makes any pot or pan easy to strain, and while these photo frames are definitely more decorative, they make the list because they are so easy to swap out and change! We are kicking things off with something we all need and use, bed pillows and a mattress pad! Both wash and dry easily in a standard washer/dryer. Whenever the pillows feel dull or flat, I’ll wash and dry them, and they puff right back up. This handheld steamer has often replaced our iron and makes de-wrinkling super easy. I use it on all sorts of clothing. If you’ve ever dealt with pillows, sofas, or any upholstered items or clothing pilling, this fabric shaver makes them feel like new again!
The belly band has been great for feeling supported. Think of it like a bra for your belly. It helps alleviate the heaviness. I’ve also continued with chiropractic care and started acupuncture. I’ve also had a few massages, which I would do weekly if I could. If you’re in Buffalo, I’d be happy to send my recommendations over to you.
WHEN SHOULD I BUY A PREGNANCY PILLOW, MATERNITY BRA, NEW CLOTHES? Honestly, everyone will tell you all sorts of opinions and timelines, but you should do whatever feels good to you, whenever that is. I busted out of my leggings/pants, bras, and undies pretty early into the first trimester (I couldn’t stand the feeling of anything tight).
I’ve accidentally become a pregnancy pillow connoisseur… I started with this one (I use it now at my desk), then graduated to this one (which I use while traveling), and then upgraded to this one-sided full-body pillow (which I still use the small zip-off part of) and now have settled on this one… It’s exhausting trying to be comfortable (lol), but they’ve helped me, mainly to keep my body aligned, and Walter enjoys them too. The belly band has been great for feeling supported.
Alas, the second trimester. I was promised so many things… like energy, appetite, and a cute bump. If you read my first-trimester recap, you’d know that I’d been struggling hard with morning sickness (that was more like an afternoon/early evening sickness), low energy, and little to no appetite. If there’s one thing I know about pregnancy to be accurate, it’s that it is not linear. Just because I hit a specific day/milestone doesn’t mean my symptoms will magically fade… if only!
And just like that… the second trimester came and went. It felt like it zoomed on by and dragged at the same time. I truly thought it would last forever, or perhaps a bit longer, so I was in disbelief when my app said, “welcome to the third trimester.” Overall, I’m feeling pretty good, all things considered, but I’m excited to dig into it today!
