Suomenlinna (Viapori/Sveaborg) fortress is one of the biggest sea fortresses in the world. Founded in 1748 and built by Augustin Ehrensvärd on islands off the coast of Helsinki. Suomenlinna one of the most popular attractions in Finland and a place where people live. It was included in Unesco’s World Heritage List in 1991 as a unique monument to European military architecture.

Petäjäveden vanha kirkko. / The old church at Petäjävesi, Finland was built in 1763-1764. It was marked as a UNESCO world heritage landmark in 1994 as an excellent example of a Lutheran country church built of logs as a typical example of an architectural tradition unique to eastern Scandinavia.

Suomenlinna Fortress. Lovely place to hang around especially in summers but in all seasons. History, cafes, sceneries, sea, passing ferries... simply love it.
