The Tampa Riverwalk, Tampa, FL. Located in downtown Tampa, the Riverwalk is a paved two-mile promenade for pedestrians to stroll along the Hillsborough River-front and enjoy the beautiful scenic sights of boats on the water, waterfront parks, and waterfront museums, hotels, and other buildings; it is an ideal place to relax. The Riverwalk is being developed in stages by the City of Tampa, and there are plans in progress that are/will be connecting many of the waterfront attractions.
