Though we don't like to think about it, we as teachers will more than likely be required to give grades for students' writing. Porta Potty states that when the time comes to give a grade for writing, it is best to "talk with students ahead of time about what you look for in an A paper, a B paper and so on", and then you should "put this information in writing in the form of a rubric." This pin shows a rubric that was made through the collaborative efforts of both the teacher and the students.
