Dagda is described as the good god of the Irish Celts. He was thought of as a father figure who was from the superhuman race of beings called the Tuatha. The god Ogma was one of his sons. Dagda was a warrior of immense strength who carried a huge club which with one end could kill nine people but at the other end restore a person's life. He owned a cauldron called an Undry which supplied unlimited food. The magic harp he owned was made of oak and encrusted with jewels.

Radiant, luminous "crone" woman. During ancient times, the crones, hags and witches were frequently sages, leaders, midwives and healers in their communities and were revered for their wisdom and knowledge. As history evolved and a patriarchal society took hold, the definitions of the crone (the crowned one), the hag (the holy one), and the witch (the wise one) were distorted. May we again respect all elders and honor their wisdom.
