Hong Kong-based artist Johnson Tsang combines his aptitude for sculpture with his knowledge of human anatomy in a newly opened solo show titled “Living Clay” Tsang creates unique if not unsettling anthromorphic sculptures, whereby he transforms ordinary human body parts into beautiful cups, bowls, plates and vases. Objects such as hands and faces seem to effortlessly spring from bright white ceramic pottery. Some of the pieces show off his playful, comical side;
