2 miles - average pace: 11:36.  Pretty cold today so I overdressed. Not a good idea bc I felt uncomfortable during mile 2. But very happy I went for it. Now rest & cross training in the next 3 days. 1/2 Training Day 29 - 8 miles outdoors.  Average  pace 13:30...had GPS issues so couldn't get exact pace numbers. Tempted to run 10 since I missed a 2 mile workout but my right hip started bothering me so decided to stop. 1/2 Training Day 26 - 2 miles in 27:24. Missed yesterday so after considering skipping all together I decided to stay committed and go. Not an easy one because of the heat. Even inside the gym was too hot. But I did it, finished and I'm glad I did. It put a smile on my face and fixed a day that started on a not so positive spell. 1/2 Training Day 26 - 2 miles in 27:24. Missed yesterday so after considering skipping all together I decided to stay committed and go. Not an easy one because of the heat. Even inside the gym was too hot. But I did it, finished and I'm glad I did. It put a smile on my face and fixed a day that started on a not so positive spell.
1/2 Training Day 25 - 7 miles in 95:43. Today I reflected upon progress. I've been training longer than last summer, I've completed all of the tempo runs so far, I haven't gotten any blood blisters and besides some soreness at times I've been pain free. I realized that running is just a way for me to prove myself that with persistence I can accomplish whatever goals I set. It will take time and I'll make many mistakes but if I keep trying I will make progress and progress equals success. Run Like A Girl, Just Run, Girls Be Like

1/2 Training Day 23- 6 mile tempo run...I'm still not crazy about tempo runs but I'm getting better at it. Today it consisted of a warmup mile in 13:47 min, 4 miles in 49:24 min (12:30 pace) and a cool down mile in 13:49.

1/2 Training Day 21 - 4 miles in 54:40 minutes for a total of 12 miles. I didn't feel like running today but I'm committed to my plan so I went. 1/2 Training - Day 18: 4 miles in 54:41 min, 2 min water break & 3 miles in 41:02 min for a total of 7 miles. No blisters although I think I'm getting new calluses 😳. Oh well, more pedi's then. 1/2 Training - Day 8 - Crazy mix: 2.50 miles in 35:16 min, followed by 30 min of a circuit training workout, and finished the other .50 mile in 7:16 afterwards.  I guess I made the goal pace....what matters to me is that I finished the 3 miles regardless. Running is like a smothering jealous boyfriend. Once you become involved it doesn't let you do anything else. Still enjoy circuit training but not enough to let it change my running schedule. ;-) Running Schedule, Circuit Training Workouts
