Strong, straight blade of lozenge section, tang with crowned stamp "S"; iron hilt richly chiselled and pierced, double valve, border, guard, parry rings and rings all featuring baluster-shaped decorations, the valves, quillon-block and pommel pierced with floral motifs; grip with silver wire binding and moor's heads.
