Russian/ Eastern Knitting- Catching Floats
This is how I catch floats in the Russian/Eastern knitting style. I hold all my colors over the index finger of my left hand. I’m working in the round on circular needles.

An astute knitter asked the difference between the Turkish Cast On and Judy's Magic Cast On, so here's a comparison! The biggest difference is that Judy's Magic Cast On has one more row and is a bit more tidy, IMHO. You can use either technique for Cowltopus MKAL.
