1st Lt. Jacob N. Fritz. 2-377th Parachute Field Artillery Regiment, 4th Airborne Brigade Combat Team, 25th Infantry Division of Fort Richardson, Alaska. 1LT Fritz was 25 years old and from Verdon, Nebraska. He died January 20, 2007 when he was abducted by insurgents and then executed in Karbala, Iraq. He was posthumously awarded the Prisoner of War medal.
