Beatnik, the style created from rebellion of the customary for its time. Originating in the late 1940s, early 1950s, this style sprouted from a conservative period of time with the intention of rejecting mainstream fashion. This style includes dark shades, mainly black/gray, form fitting clothes, a turtleneck or two. The key is effortless.

1960s beatnik. Beatniks were characterized by "beards, pony tails, dirty sneakers, and peasant blouses." They often wore all black.
