This sculpture is an expansion of my previous work 'Ecorche' combined with my fascination for archaic sculpture. - Each piece is unique in its patination - Blue Green Chemical Patina - Weight 1.8 KG (Approx) - SIze H 25cm x w20.5cm x D21cm (Approx) H 35cm (With Base) Cold casting is the process of suspending real metal powders within a resin binder, the surface can then be burnished back to expose the metal in the cast, making it possible to achieve many metal finishes. The chemical patina then reacts with the surface of the metal by oxidizing and corroding the metal, creating a vast range of colors and textures on the bronze cold cast. Note: This mask is too heavy to be worn.
