On Sept . 23, 2008 I had the opportunity to work with the art students from Northampton Community College in a community art project. Each student created 2 or 3 paper and oil pastel tridimensional pieces based on a template a created. We had a lot fun studying real candy prices as our inspiration for our Pop Art Candy Paintings. Tempra paint and black Sharpie outlines added emphasis and strong lines. The 12" x12" paper created a cropped effect as well. Yum!
