For my first attempt at Game-res weapon modeling, I chose to create the Zenith pistol from Deus Ex: Human Revolution from concept art found online. The model is 6,586 tris and has four 2048x2048 textures. Modeled in Maya, Textured in Photoshop and Substance Painter, and rendered in Marmoset. What do you guys think?

Key art concept that was later on put in 3D and used for many banners and magazine covers. I painted over the 3D render to put the final touch-ups before release. Adjusting the details, light and correct anything relevant.

Adam Jensen is a former Special Operative and director of security at Sarif Industries, a bio-tech firm specializing in human augmentation. After an attack leaves him gravely wounded, his entire body is "upgraded" with cybernetic augmentations to save his life. He is the main character of Deus Ex: Human Revolution.
