In 2006, sitting in my kitchen on Jackson Street in Oakland, I decided to make a beaded curtain out of bottle caps. It took me two and a half years just to figure out how I would even string the caps. But I did (an awl and a rubber mallot!), and here it is. There are 60 caps per string. Do the math.
