How do you grow green onion? From Seeds or Scraps ?

I love growing from scraps, quick and easy !

HOW? 
- Cut about 3” from the root ( or shorter than that) 
- Plant 1”-2”  into soil, water and you will almost see the new shoot growing the same day. 
- harvest often, the more you harvest, the more it grow. It’s very convenient and my kids love the green part.

🧅1. Floppy Stem/ Neck
Onions are ready for harvest is when the stem close to the bulb is soft and easily pliable and tends to flop over. You will notice that 1/3rd of the stems will start to dry and look yellowish/ brownish in color when this happens.

🧅2. After 75 to 80 Days
Onions take at least 10 to 12 weeks to grow and mature to their full size. You can see large onion bulbs bulging above the ground after this time has passed and will easily know that they are ready to be picked.
