Choose the box-leaved Honeysuckle instead of the classic box to avoid difficulties with box blight. Lonicera pileata is a robust, fast-growing, drought-resistant plant. Honeysuckle with box leaves is a low-growing, spreading evergreen shrub with glossy foliage. Creamy spring blooms and purple autumn berries add to the appeal. Plants are fast-growing and easy to trim in summer and autumn, making them ideal for low-maintenance, compact hedges. Height: 1m (39"). Spread: 2.5m (8').
