Few places have ever shattered my expectations like Nicaragua. From some of the Caribbean's most stunning island paradises to laid-back colonial towns, thick, mysterious jungles and bustling metro centers, Nicaragua offers a taste of something exciting for everyone. Thanks to the Nicaragua Tourism Board and my friends at Murphy O'Brien Public Relations for putting together a brilliant trip. www.murphyobrien.com Flash Parker Photography: Website | Facebook | Twitter
Following our night in San Salvador, we had a night and a day in Managua, Nicaragua. Honestly, all the travelling by bus is quite exhausting so once we arrived we agreed to chill for a couple of hours and then search for food. We wanted to eat local food and came a really nice restaurant and asked the waiter to point out what was typical Nicaraguan food on the menu. We had an amazing steak with crispy plantain chips and rice with beans. It was mouth-watering.
