On November 28, 1489, Margaret Tudor was born. She was Henry VII's second child and first daughter, making her the perfect politically tool. It was because of Margaret's marriage to James IV of Scotland that England and Scotland united in 1603. However, it was during the reign of her great-great-great-great-granddaughter, Anne, that the two countries officially became part of Great Britain.
