Pick up stick weaving patterns

One of the many benefits of weaving with pick-up sticks is being able to change your pattern on a whim. Here’s one project that uses pick-up sticks to create 3 different towels.

Pick the method that suits your own preferences the most. This online class offers a variety of set up options for your rigid heddle loom. Method one uses two heddles, a pick up stick and a heddle rod. Method two uses one heddle, 2 heddle rods and a pick up stick. Method three uses three heddles. "WOW! We all know that the humble rigid heddle loom is capable of a lot more than first meets the eye. That is why it's such a wonderful loom for beginners - you can use it for it's most basic function (plain weave) to begin with and increase your skills and exploration from there.
