WAHOOO! The BIG classroom reveal! I made some new additions to my rainbow classroom this year and kept all my fun makeover items from last year, too! When I was taking the pictures for this post, I thought of a few more things I wanted to update. It is always a work in progress! I am always adding new activities, taking out the old, putting up new student work, taking down the old, and organizing.

Cut out half circles from felt and create your own colorful rainbow. Kids will label the colors, sequence the colors, sort by size, and request help when needed. This is a great spring or March activity to add to your toddler or preschool lesson plans. Add a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow for a St. Patrick's Day activity. Ideal for preschool teachers, toddler parents, preschool parents, and SLPs. Have fun building your own rainbow!
PLANT GROWTH DIARY ACTIVITY Children recorded the growth of the plants we grew in the homeroom (aka classroom), namely onion, basil and garlic. Keeping a plant diary was a fun way to incorporate Literacy skills too. Children had fun sketching the plants. Labelling the plant parts and writing short sentences helped children to practice Literacy skills.
