A Rockabilly Las Vegas Wedding: John & Marnie

Australian John & Marnie spent six weeks travelling around the US for their honeymoon after their wedding in Las Vegas. They were in town for the Viva Las Vegas Rockabilly Festival and they loved the idea of getting married there. The ceremony was held at Little Church of the West, a quaint little 'mini church' looking chapel, right at the south end of the strip and the after party was at Level 107 Cocktail lounge in the Stratosphere hotel - right at the north end!

Steph and Chris' first date was at a burlesque show in Liverpool and they decided to recreate that atmosphere for their wedding! They infused their eclectic tastes into a perfect day of vintage, Rock n Roll, burlesque and mid-century classic style in a local historic venue. One of the acts they saw on their fist date, Suzie Sequin, even played at their reception!

Mel and Lee met through mutual friends at a car show in 2010. They got talking about their cars and that was it! They wanted their wedding to reflect their day-to-day style and interests so, although Day of the Dead was their underlying theme, as far as everything else went, if they liked it they put it in the wedding! The end result was a Mexican fiesta, meets Day of the Dead, meets rockabilly wedding.
