Auckland-based illustrator Toby Morris perfectly summarizes what it means to be privileged with this thought-provoking comic strip. When we say privileged, we're not talking about those people who were born into royalty, or those with millionaire parents. We simply mean those folks who have perhaps had a helping hand or two in life while others weren't afforded such assistance.

I think most of us have heard of Moscow-based illustrator Gudim Anton. He is well known for creating short paneled comic strips full of visual puns and odd quirks that offer a fresh perspective on the modern world. However, as of recently, the artist has been circling around a slightly different idea. Anton created a new Instagram account called “YES, BUT” which includes just two-panel comics telling ironic short stories based on our current society and its values.

Few things provide more creative inspiration in this world than relationships. They're the subject of a million songs, the focus of a million poems, and they provide endless material for artists and cartoonists everywhere. Love and relationships are the basis of our society and humanity, so it's only natural that you have to "deal" with them at least once in your life.
