Meanie had the best squirrel tail in the forest. She was instantly recognisable amongst the other squirrels because of her beautiful tail! Two months after this picture was taken, she lost her entire tail to a predator and now only has a tiny stump. It's so sad she no longer has that fabulous tail but it did save her life. Description I wanted to try out making a tail that could be used for squirrels and skunks, something that would stand upright on its own. I had to tweak the pattern while I was going, so it isn't perfect, but I've got the bugs worked out now, so the next one will be much better.
