Coleus is known for its shade loving qualities which makes for a perfect house plant or for that part of your yard that’s bare, because it doesn’t get much light.
These thrive in room temperature and part to nearly full shade. They are extremely easy to care for and grow rapidly making them great for cuttings into new plants!
Trimming coleus is encouraged to create bushier growth and cuttings will easily root when placed in some moist soil. I even do it without rooting hormone.
