I first saw this piece as a door stopper in a second hand store in Central, Hong Kong. It was rusty and looked in pretty bad shape. I spent many weekends wire brushing the rust and restoring the iron to its original form. Sadly, over time I have neglected it and rust is once again forming. Early 1900s vintage Howell - Geneva #7 iron and trivet, both in very good condition. This makes a nice display piece - we don't often find them with the trivets!
