Western cards

Hello! Today I have a card to share that I made for one of my nephew's birthdays. It's always a challenge to come up with a masculine card. So...while surfing the web I came across one of Theresa Momber's cards and was inspired to create this birthday card for my nephew. Theresa is an illustrator for Gina K. I have painted 54 western lifestyle images and had them printed on high quality playing card decks that serve as useable cards and fine art prints. The originals were painted on playing cards, so these are are full size prints!

I loved doing this card. I like gatefold cards anyway and I just got a new silhouette die cut machine, so when Tracy challenged us to make a gatefold card, I knew immediately what I wanted to do. I was so glad I had seen some western theme chipboard embellishments and picked them up! This is going to my nephew for his 8th birthday. I've finally learned to try to combine upcoming card needs with challenges!
