Today I am sharing an over the top Christmas card we made at my October 2017 FMN class featuring the Ready for Christmas bundle. This is an extra special card where I created an inviting holiday scene.

I decided on a window themed card. I keep the design fairly simple. I used a stamp from Delicious Doodles called A Robins Christmas. I coloured the Christmas ornaments red, but left the rest of the image black and white. I framed the image with the small Memory Box Madison Window Die. For my Dots and Stripes, I embossed the background wall using two folders: small dot pattern and a stripe pattern. I used three stickers from Kaisercraft to finish off the card.

Peeking through the window at Christmas using Stampin' Up! Hearth and Home Thinlits

I LOVED these new Hearth and Home Thinlits as soon as I saw them. I can see they will be so versatile. Today I have used them for a Christmas card with Wonderland stamp set from the Stampin' Up! 2015 Holiday catalogue. To create the scene behind the window, I stamped the trees in Mossy Meadow three times without re-inking the stamp. I then sponged in the sky using Mint Macaron ink. Then I covered the whole panel with Versamark and Heat and Stick Powder, and poured on Dazzling Diamonds…
