Kate Taylor 🧘🏻‍♀️ on Instagram: "Sometimes our yoga practice can become very linear, moving in sequences that involve us taking poses on the right side of the body, then repeating those same poses on the left. This is all well and good, but if we always practice in this way, our brains get used to the movement, meaning we can lose focus. Last week I decided to switch it up, working with a mandala flow. “Mandala” is a Sanskrit word that means “complete” or “circle.” We moved all around the mat, transitioning through poses in different ways to make the journey. The back of the mat becomes the front, we have a different view point, and we are pushed out of that comfortable linear style of moving.
