Vermentino ("vur-men-teeno") is a light-bodied white wine that comes from Italy. What's exciting about Vermentino is it tastes similar to Sauvignon Blanc and is often much more affordable for quality wines.
Torrontés This white wine is a specialty of Argentina where it grows very will in the high elevation vineyards (maybe highest on the planet!) of Salta. It smells like perfume, roses and ripe peaches but most are made in a lean, delicious dry style.
