This two-way dynamic hip stretch gives both your inner and outer hip muscles a nice stretch. The way you oscillate between the two lets those muscles alternate between lengthening and shortening, much like they do when you are moving on the ice. So let's check out a video example.

This is a great off-ice goalie drill to develop agility and power, with a broken pattern requiring quickness in one direction and explosive power the other way.
