The most incredible orchid collection I’ve seen in Finland—or anywhere, really—with over 1000 species of orchids in the botanical garden of Turku University, Ruissalo. 🌿🌱 A week ago, we took a trip with @suomen_orkideayhdistys_ry to take a look at this orchid collection, including even a behind-the-scenes tour of the growth facilities! Last weekend, we visited a botanical garden in Stockholm, the Bergianska Trädgården 🪷🌿🌱 Enjoy this big bunch of photos from the day, mostly starring wonderful ferns and Selaginellas. I spent the loveliest of days at the botanical garden of Tallinn last Saturday! We went to see the orchid exhibit and sales with the wonderful people of @suomen_orkideayhdistys_ry and it was so awesome to finally meet other orchid enthusiasts from Finland. Just hours of browsing plants and talking about orchids… What a treat! Greetings from Crete! 🌿🐚🇬🇷 Had a lovely vacation venturing around the island of Crete last week—and what a very welcome break that was! We mostly spend our time there petting local cats, chilling at the beach, drinking cocktails and eating well. I had a few opportunities to do some brief botanizing at the nearby areas and the gorgeous Mili gorge, although my species ID skills are a bit rusty. The best finds were endemic plants such as 𝘓𝘪𝘮𝘰𝘯𝘪𝘶𝘮 𝘤𝘳𝘦𝘵𝘪𝘤𝘶𝘮 and, possibly, 𝘚𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘯𝘣𝘦𝘳𝘨𝘪𝘢 𝘭𝘶𝘵𝘦𝘢 subsp....
