Moomins. Tove Jansson

when you go to explore new horizons you should do it with a racing step not a racing heart Moomins.

Bilbo the Hobbit by Tove Jansson Swedish edition, 1962. When this illustration was originally drawn, there was no definitive image of Gollum. It is an interesting interpretation for a sight-unseen character.

Tove Jansson's illustrations to J. Tolkien: Bilbo – en hobbits äventyr, Rabén & Sjögren, p. 85 - Bilbo and Gollum (clearly, no one told Tove that Gollum was of possibly hobbit stock himself)
